The Mitel Unified IP Client for Sun Ray is based on proven Sun Ray thin client software technology that provides a highly secure and cost-effective desktop computing environment. It virtualizes the traditional desktop PC onto shared server resources hosted in a 
corporate data center and combines desktop PC and IP telephony hotdesking resulting into a seamless work environment. The solution comprises:
- Unified IP Client Server – the software that manages the Sun Ray thin clients
- Unified IP Client Connector and Blade – the software that integrates Sun Ray technology and Mitel IP telephony
- Sun Ray 2 thin client desktop appliance – an ultra-thin desktop PC replacement.
