Mitel 5300 Intelligent Directory Application

The Mitel 5300 Intelligent Directory application provides a simple, intuitive on-screen, searchable directory of both corporate (Microsoft® Active Directory®) and personal contacts (Microsoft Outlook®) right on the phone's display. It allows users to search on the phone for contacts, using the familiar keypad search that users are accustomed to on their cell phones and handheld devices.

Mitel 5300 Intelligent Directory Presence Option

The Mitel 5300 Intelligent Directory Presence Option provides at-a-glance presence information for the entire corporate directory list. Presence information is automatically fed from the instant messaging contact list (Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 today and migrating to Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 in 2009) to the display of the Mitel 5330 and Mitel 5340 IP Phones.

Mitel Unified Communicator Express (formerly Mitel 5300 Integrated Office Companion Enhanced)

Mitel Unified Communicator® (UC) Express is a lightweight, serverless unified communications client that provides productivity enhancements like click-to-dial, incoming caller ID pop-up, PC-based missed calls and speed calls list, and personal (Microsoft® Outlook®) directory integration.

Target general availability date for UC Express release 2.0 is end of February 2009.
